Abstract

Myasthenia Gravis is an autoimmune disorder in which the patients produce antibodies that attach the nicotinic acetylcholine receptors at the neuromuscular junction. The interactions between myorelaxants, anticholinesterases or the other drugs that are used in general anesthesia can cause postoperatif respiratuary failure. Regional anesthesia have been suggested for the lower abdominal and extremity operations. The purpose of this case report is to review to anesthetic management of a patient with myasthenia gravis

Miyastenia Gravis sinir kas kavşağındaki nikonitik asetilkolin reseptörlerine karşı, hasta tarafından geliştirilen antikorlar ile oluşan otoimmün bir hastalıktır. Genel anestezide kullanılan kas gevşeticiler, antikolinesterazlar ya da diğer ilaç etkileşimlerine bağlı postoperatif solunum yetmezliği gelişebilir. Alt batın ve ekstremite ameliyatları için rejyonel anestezi tercih edilir. Bu olgu sunumunun amacı, Miyastenia Gravis’li olguda anestezik yaklaşımını gözden geçirmektir
