Abstract
The most common dislocation seen by emergency physicians is anterior dislocation of the shoulder joint. Bilateral dislocation of this joint is rarely seen. From the history of the patient it was discovered that during the trauma elbow joints were tense (hyperextension), arms were abducted from the shoulder and the patient had fallen on his hands. This position explained how anterior dislocation had happened. With this case presentation we aimed to draw attention to a frequently seen clinical entity in emergency departments and its rarely seen form.

Acil servis hekimlerinin en sık karşılaştıkları çıkık, omuz ekleminin anterior çıkığıdır. Omuz ekleminin bilateral çıkığı ise nadir görülen bir klinik durumdur. Hastadan alınan hikayede, travma sırasında dirseklerin gergin (ekstansiyonda), kolların omuzdan abduksiyonda iken elleri üzerine düşmüş olduğu öğrenildi. Bu pozisyonun anterior çıkık oluşumunu açıklayabilecek bir mekanizma olduğunu düşünmekteyiz. Bu olgu sunumu ile acil servislerde sık karşılaşılan bir klinik durumun, nadir görülen formuna ve oluşumunu sağlayan travma nedenine dikkati çekmek istedik.
