Abstract

Pleomorphic adenoma is the most common among all the tumors of the salivary glands and frequently affecting the parotid gland. The vast majority of these tumors are between two and six centimeter in size but cases of giant pleomorphic adenoma have been reported. We present a case of giant pleomorphic adenoma, which was treated successfully by surgery and weigh 1.2 kilogram.

Parotis Bezinde Dev Pleomorfik Adenom Olgusu

Pleomorfik adenom tüm tükrük bezi tümörleri içerisinde en fazla görülen ve sıklıkla parotis bezini tutan bir tümördür. Olguların çoğunda tümör boyutu iki ile altı cm arasında olsa da parotis bezi kaynaklı dev pleomorfik adenom olguları bildirilmiştir. Bu yazıda cerrahi ile başarılı bir şekilde tedavi edilen, 1,2 kilogram ağırlığında parotis bezi dev pleomorfik adenom olgusu sunuldu.
