Abstract
Giant cell fibroblastoma is a rare type of fibroblastic tumour, first described as a juvenil form of dermatofibrosarcoma. Although recurrences are common after local surgical resection, metastasis is not reported. In this study, a case of a 5.5 year-old girl child with subcutaneous mass on the anterior side of the thigh is reported. The immunohistochemical and histopathologic findings of giant cell fibroblastoma are reported in the light of the current literature.
Dev hücreli fibroblastom, nadir görülen fibrohistiositik bir tümör olup, başlangıçta dermatofibrosarkomun juvenil formu olarak tanımlanmıştır. Lokal cerrahi rezeksiyon sonrası, rekürrensler sık olmakla birlikte metastaz yaptığı bildirilmemiştir. Olgumuz 5,5 yaşında, uyluk ön yüz yerleşimli kitlesi olan kız hasta idi. Uygulanan immunohistokimyasal boyalarla ve histopatolojik özellikleri ile olgu “Dev Hücreli Fibroblastom” tanısı aldı. Olgu immunohistokimyasal özellikleri ile birlikte literatürler eşliğinde tartışıldı.
